Arno's work centers on the themes of history, institutes, and uncovering negative spaces. He works with archival images and stories from art history, which he scrapes, distorts, and transforms into new images within a contemporary context. He examines how history is visually formed and how this influences perception over time. By connecting past and present, he creates space for new interpretations.
