Working across model-making, performance, and installation, Katya Timofeeva constructs collaged situations driven by repetition that dissolves into a space of both estrangement and a hopeful kind of proximity. Found materials, overheard phrases and the uneasiness between global politics and personal life are staged, re-assembled, and rehearsed.
